Pin Seekerz is not an official handicap. It is based on the average you score on Pin Seekerz and is not recognised as an official handicap.
Within your profile, you will be asked to enter your handicap (either this is known or you can estimate one for now.)
APin Seekerz handicap will evolve over time depending on the scores entered in PS.
Everyone will be under the same algorithm so this is fair and will also help with making sure handicaps and scores are as accurate as possible.
A players handicap will be based on a players average Nett score (gross score minus a players handicap) every 5 rounds they submit to PS and will adjust accordingly.
WHAT DOES GREEN IN REGULATION MEAN (GIR)?
Green in Regulation occurs when you land on the green at least 2 strokes under par. For a par 3, this allows 1 stroke to reach the green. For a par 4, this allows 2 strokes to reach the green. For a par 5, this allows 3 strokes to reach the green.

You are not required to work any of these scores out, simply enter your gross scores and stats and Pin Seekerz will work the rest out.
For a full explanation and breakdown of scoring, please view the user guide above.
HOW ARE RANKINGS WORKED OUT IN THE LEADERBOARD?
Due to golf seasonality around the world, rankings are done on a rolling 52 week cycle based on Stableford and bonus points.
Point scores are cumulative over the 52 weeks to encourage players to play more golf.
Game Week rankings are Stabelford and bonus points for that week only, and the leaderboards are reset on Mondays at 12:30pm UTC.
HOW ARE COURSES CALCULATED EVENLY?
The difficulty of a course is determined by the handicap it is given when it is officially rated, known as a slope rating in the US.
Whilst Pin Seekerz cannot apply a unique leveller for all courses, Pin Seekerz have taken learnings from the various handicap systems and unfortunately, even they are unable to factor in the difficulty of courses when calculating players handicaps all over the world.
HOW MANY ROUNDS CAN I SUBMIT EACH WEEK?
You can submit as many verified rounds as you like in each week. However, only the 1 round with the best points total will be taken and uploaded to the leaderboards.
All other stats will be stored on your profile.
The reason for this is to ensure it is fair and people with less time can still compete on the same level as to prevent considerably larger points entries being made as a result of multiple rounds.

WILL PIN SEEKERZ WORK ABROAD?
We recommend talking with your service provider prior to travelling internationally to determine the network charges that you may incur through using Internet on your phone.
We suggest syncing with the region you are travelling to prior to leaving your home country. This will provide you with the scorecard and GPS information for the courses mapped in the country you are travelling to.
The good news is Pin Seekerz does not need to have gps enabled during your round and can be turned on only when needed, mostly to verify and submit scores.
